2017 SCARY STORY

This work is based on the ghost story “Amekai Yurei (Candy-buying ghost).” In the process of dripping down, liquid candy solidifies at room temperature, and remains in that shape.

The idea was to juxtapose a supernatural, ghostly kind of fear, and a rather real, nuclear fear, through works made from candy, and displayed in the same space.

怪談話の「飴買い幽霊」をベースにした作品。液体状の飴が滴り落ちる過程で常温で固形化し、その形態を保っている。

怪談的な恐怖（幽霊）と現実的な恐怖（核）をそれぞれ飴という素材を使って同じ空間に対比させた。
